Introducing Viet Youth for Democracy

THTNDC justifies its activities on the 69th Article of Constitution of Vietnam (guaranteeing freedom of expression and association), the 20th Article of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the 21st and 22nd Article of International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

Objectives

• Promote the basic democratic principles in Vietnam

• Create forums and opportunities for Vietnamese Youth to contribute ideas and opinions

• Prepare the young Vietnameses to participate in genuinely democratic parties

Process of activities

• Recruiting new members

• Dialogue

• Help victims of injustices

• Send appeals, requests, collect signatures

• Communicate, propagate law and democratic documents

• Organize seminars, meetings, moderate non-violent demonstrations
