Internet Blackout Day for Human Rights in Vietnam

At the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights 10 December 2012, we would like to invite all websites, blogs, social media users to participate in the “Internet Blackout Day for Human Rights in Vietnam.”

On December 10, 2012, all blogs and websites will turn their banner to black, post information and posters of the Internet Blackout Day with a human rights message on their pages, and display a black pop-up with a human rights message.

The goal of the Internet Blackout Day is to convey the diversity of human rights messages, aspirations and concerns in Vietnam, in order to call for the attention of the cyber community and international community about human rights in Vietnam.

How to participate:

We will provide in this event page and on participating pages posters and cover pictures. You could use your own black posters, and to add new human rights messages you would like to convey, in both English and Vietnamese. We welcome all new ideas!
